Conversely, obvious aftermarket additions may create questions about quality, reliability and alterations to the car. Documentation, tidy installation and retained original functionality all matter.

Before committing, ask what equipment is already fitted, which factory functions can be retained and whether coding or additional modules are required. A credible installer should explain the route clearly rather than promising that every feature is possible on every model.
